This Dhaka SEO case study follows a blog that earned 71,600 organic clicks and 2.11 million impressions in three months, generating $1,000 to $1,200 a month from AdSense, affiliate commissions and its own services after 13 months of SEO.
It is about what steady SEO work does to a blog’s income, not only its traffic.
I’m Nazirul Islam Nakib, an SEO specialist. I worked on this blog as both writer and strategist.
Project snapshot
- Business type: blog earning from AdSense, affiliate links and services
- Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
- My role: content writer and SEO specialist
- Monthly revenue: $1,000 to $1,200
- Timeline: 13 months; 3-month data snapshot
The numbers

| Metric | Result (3 months) |
|---|---|
| Total clicks | 71,600 |
| Total impressions | 2,110,000 |
| Average CTR | 3.4% |
| Average position | 9 |
| Monthly revenue | $1,000 to $1,200 |
| Daily peak clicks | ~1,800 |
An average position of 9 with a 3.4% CTR shows the titles earned clicks even near the bottom of page one.
What I did
Wrote and optimised in one role
Because I wrote and optimised the content, each article was built for search from the first sentence. That avoided later rewrites and retrofitted keywords.
Built topical authority over 13 months
It was weeks of writing, page improvements and steady topical coverage. See topical authority.
Monetised three ways
The blog used Google AdSense, affiliate links placed naturally in relevant content, and promotion of its own services.
The graph shows the compounding. April began at 200 to 300 daily clicks. By early June the blog hit 1,800 in a single day.
What I learned
- Content and SEO done by the same person stay aligned.
- Traffic needs a monetisation plan to become income.
- Next step: move pages from position 9 into the top five to raise clicks without new articles.
These results, including the revenue, are from one blog and are not a promise.
