Is the review on a third-party site?
A review on the expert’s own website is a testimonial. One on an independent platform is much harder to edit or invent.

I do not write testimonials, and I will never publish an invented one. The rating on this site, 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews, comes from clients who reviewed the work. If you want to read them, message me and I will point you to where they are published.

"Great service" tells you nothing. Look for reviews that name the problem, the work and what changed.
A real name, a company, a profile you can open. Be careful with reviews that have none of these.
A few glowing reviews from one week mean less than a steady stream across several years. Compare them with case studies, and be wary of guarantees.
