What it is

What a Google Business Profile expert does

Your Google Business Profile is the free listing that appears in Google Search and Maps with your hours, reviews, photos, phone number and directions. For many local searches, it matters more than your website.

Most profiles I see are incomplete, have the wrong categories, or carry old information. Some have been hit by suspensions caused by well-meant mistakes: keywords added to the business name, a virtual office used as an address, a duplicate listing created years ago.

My job is to fix those problems safely and then make the profile as complete and useful as it can honestly be. That includes the right primary and secondary categories, a clear services list, accurate hours, good photos, regular posts and fast answers to questions. It is the base of the other local work, from local citations to review management.

What I do

The profile work I take on

Setup and verification

New profiles created correctly, and help through Google’s verification steps.

Clean-up and duplicates

Old, duplicate or wrong listings merged or removed, with the right process.

Categories and services

The right primary category and a full list of services, so you match real searches.

Photos and content

Real photos, a clear description and regular posts that show you are active.

Accuracy and updates

Hours, holiday hours, attributes and contact details kept current.

Suspension help

If your profile is suspended, I find the cause and prepare a proper reinstatement request.

My promises

How I treat your profile

Trust is earned in the details, so these are the rules I work by on every local project.

Your profile stays yours

I ask for manager access to your Google Business Profile, never your password, and you can remove me at any time.

No fake reviews, ever

Reviews come from your real customers. Buying or inventing them breaks Google’s rules and can get a profile suspended.

No promised rankings

Local results depend on distance, competition and the searcher. I will show you the data, not make guarantees.

You see every change

Each edit to your profile, listings and pages is logged, so you always know what was done and why.

Honest about what is worth doing

If a tactic will not help your business, I will say so rather than bill you for it.

My process

How a profile project runs

1

Review the current profile

Every field, category, photo and review is checked against what customers see.

2

Fix errors and risks

Wrong names, address problems and duplicates are dealt with first.

3

Complete the profile

Services, description, photos and attributes are filled in properly.

4

Set a posting routine

Simple, regular updates that keep the profile fresh.

5

Track results

Views, calls, direction requests and website clicks reported monthly.

Where your profile fits

A strong profile works best with accurate listings elsewhere, real reviews and a website that supports it. See local citations, review management and local landing pages. If you have several branches, read about multi-location SEO. The full picture is on my local SEO services page.
