This clothing SEO case study follows a Switzerland-based luxury brand that, after seven months of SEO on a BigCommerce site, reached 2,700+ combined monthly organic visits from Google and Bing while targeting the US market.
The brand came through my Facebook profile. The site already existed but had no SEO work done and no organic visibility in the US.
I’m Nazirul Islam Nakib, an SEO specialist. Here is the project.
Project snapshot
- Industry: luxury clothing / fashion eCommerce
- Platform: BigCommerce
- Business location: Switzerland
- Target market: United States
- SEO type: Google SEO and Bing SEO
- Timeline: 7 months of ongoing work
Milestones in Search Console
Google Search Console sent a milestone email each month as clicks passed new highs.
The milestones went: 250, 350, 600, 800, 1,000, 1,200 and 1,500 clicks.

Search Console performance (last 3 months)
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Total clicks (3 months) | 1,250 |
| Total impressions | 206,000 |
| Average CTR | 0.6% |
| Average position | 6.8 |
| Bing organic traffic | 500+ |
| Combined monthly visits | 2,700+ |

The CTR is low at 0.6%. That is typical when many impressions come from broader queries. It should improve as more pages move into the top five.
What I did
1. Restructured the BigCommerce site
Cleaner categories, product pages and internal links. See eCommerce SEO.
2. Built content around US luxury fashion searches
Pages and guides matched how American buyers search.
3. Developed a fitting backlink strategy
Links suited to the brand’s premium positioning. See link building.
4. Ran Bing SEO in parallel
Bing added 500+ monthly visits on top of Google.
What I learned
- A competitive market rewards patient, layered work.
- Targeting a country from abroad needs market-specific content.
- Bing is worth including for extra reach.
These results belong to this brand only. Your results will depend on your market and starting point.
